The Cottage
Bron Dalar Cottage is more than 200 years old and used to be an old fisherman's cottage and smoke-house. Now, it's updated and although it's small, it's quite lovely. And best of all is the location - just a couple of minutes off Junction 15 of the A55 but only a few second's walk to the Promenade and it's lovely beach.

The cottage is situated alongside our house, and looks out over our garden, which in spring and summer is full of multicoloured flowers. Unfortunately you won't have access to the garden as our dogs are often out there - but if you're bringing a dog yourself you can rest easy that the small concreted path outside the cottage door is secure, our dog's cannot get into that area and yours won't be able to get out, unless you have opened the gate.

A word about electric car charging - unfortunately we do not have the facilities for you to charge a car here. Your vehicle will be parked out on the Promenade a couple of hundred metres from the cottage door and you will be unable to get it close enough for charging. Please do bear this in mind before booking, you will NOT be able to run a cable from the cottage to charge your car.
Welcome to our cottage in Snowdonia
We are Sue & Michelle Baker, we have lived in Llanfairfechan for many years and would love to welcome you to stay in our small seaside cottage.

For your peace of mind we have complete a number of government recommended Covid Safe and Covid Clean courses and would like to assure you that all recommendations and more are followed during our change-over clean between guests. Please do ask for a copy of our Covid cleaning policy.

The cottage is situated in our garden and is one of the oldest buildings in this village. It's not big, but it is perfect for a couple (or a couple and their dog)! Only a minute's walk from a gorgeous sandy beach and very close to the A55 coast road, we are perfectly situated whether you just want to relax by the seaside and take some lovely walks from here, or explore more by car and see the sights and sounds of Snowdonia.
Dog Friendly Fisherman's Cottage by the Beach
The cottage is small but well equipped and cosy. Central heating to all rooms means it's great for a short break in winter or a longer holiday, very popular in Spring and Summer. The cottage is facing south towards the Snowdonia range, so the view is over our garden and towards the mountains. Because it's back is towards the sea and is hiding just behind the houses on the Promenade, we keep sheltered from the North winds and rarely get a frost or snow here. There's plenty of snow to be found up on Snowdon, usually from October through to March or April, though, so you can find it if you want to!.
Location
The location is great - we are in Llanfairfechan, a great little seaside village close to the A55 and right by the sea, so good for a quiet beach holiday, good dog walks right from the cottage, but also easy to get onto the main road to explore the lovely area that we are lucky enough to live in.
Dog Friendly
We are very dog friendly, we have Tibetan Terriers ourselves. We understand that it's not always easy to keep your best friend off the furniture and so we simply ask that you bring some throws and doggy towels with you to protect the soft furnishings.

We have a small section of the beach, between two jetties, where dogs are not allowed between 1st May and 30th September, but to the left of that there is a huge sandy beach where dogs can run free all year round. There's also a great walk, all flat, along the seafront and around the salt marshes where we are quite famous for having unusual birds nest. This takes you in a very convenient loop, and our dogs get to do this every evening.

Your dog will not have access to our garden, unfortunately, as our own dogs are out there a lot of the time. However there is a small concrete path that is secure just outside the cottage door so you can sit with the door open in good weather and let the dog roam a little without worrying. We would ask though that for toileting the dog is taken out onto the Prom (a minute away) and that you clear up any little accidents from the path by the cottage.
